I currently offer individual psychotherapy through secure online sessions for clients throughout New Jersey. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, practical, and grounded in respect for your individual experience.
How I Work
I incorporate many techniques into how I conduct therapy, but I would call it person-centered and relational above all else. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to psychotherapy, as much as I appreciate manualized evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR, and often incorporate aspects of both of these. My approach draws from person-centered therapy, family systems theory, cognitive behavioral strategies, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
Every person brings a unique history, set of circumstances, strengths, and perspective to the conversation. Our work begins with understanding what's happening in your life, what matters to you, and what you'd like to change. We work from a strengths-based perspective. What's right with your world? What can we build on? And we tackle problems from there.
Together, we'll explore the patterns, relationships, beliefs, and experiences that may be contributing to your difficulties. We'll also identify practical strategies for managing symptoms, navigating challenges, and making meaningful changes.
What I Can Help With
I work with people experiencing a variety of emotional and interpersonal challenges, including:
- Anxiety, stress, and persistent worry
- Depression, discouragement, and loss of motivation
- Grief, loss, and major life transitions
- Trauma and difficult past experiences
- Relationship and family challenges
- Parenting concerns and family conflict
- Self-esteem, identity, and personal growth
- Feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck
I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, parents, and people navigating challenging family dynamics.
I particularly welcome clients who aren't quite sure therapy is for them. Be skeptical! Let's see if working together feels right for you.
Online Therapy in New Jersey
I offer convenient, confidential psychotherapy sessions through secure telehealth.
Online sessions allow you to meet from a private, comfortable location without commuting to an office. Daytime and evening appointments are available.
Session fee: $175 for individual psychotherapy.
Insurance: I accept a range of insurance plans, including Aetna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and others. Participation and coverage vary by plan and should be verified before scheduling.
Self-pay appointments are also available.
Let's Talk
Finding a therapist is a personal decision. The relationship matters, and you deserve the opportunity to ask questions before making a commitment.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation so we can talk briefly about what you're looking for, discuss how I work, and determine whether we're a good fit.
